The Gollinger wasserfall (sometimes named Gollingfall or Schwarzbachfall) is one of the most gorgeous waterfalls in Austria, located at Golling an der Salzach in the region Salzburg. Golling lies approximately 30 km south of Salzburg. In the part of town known as Torren (the Romanic word “torren” essentially means “thunderous wild stream”), the waterfall plunges an impressive 75 vertical meters in two stages. The walk there takes about 40 minutes along an idyllic forest pathway. A series of steps will even bring you to the headwaters of the waterfall.
